February 4th., 2024: "A Journey Into the Universe": performance with Françoise Vanhecke & Pascal Coppé. Co-composed vocals and vocal arrangements by Irma Bilbao. A dazzling cosmic adventure by Patsker Omaer Beguin: We were swept away in a wave of symphonic soundscapes accompanied by mesmerizing images of the planets of our solar systems. Vanhecke supplemented Coppé's electronic ambient spins with both experimental and beautiful, emotional vocal lines. Vanhecke passionately demonstrated her unique inhaling singing technique, culminating in 'TheBlack Hole'. The soprano moaned, screamed and growled just like a black metal vocalist. Her haunting vocals captivated the audience during the hypnotic projections of the black hole. We almost never write this, but 'A Journey Into The Universe' came close to perfection. The sound, the images, the singing, the performance were taken care of down to the last detail. Those who weren't there were, of course, wrong. More information: Gonzo Circus.
